For this video and story published on The Oregonian/OregonLive, I partnered with a reporter to spend the night in the remote woods of Washington to follow and film a group that searches for Bigfoot and missing people.

 

 

This is a short video profile about Oregon’s strongest Santa Albie Mushaney who competed in the Official Strongman Games 2017 at the Dorton Arena in North Carolina. I was the lead videographer and editor. This video was nominated for a regional Emmy.

 
 

 

This video was produced for The Oregonian pair with a feature story about Steve Goodwin, a man who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2015 at the age of 65. He composed dozens of songs on the piano throughout his life, but never wrote any of them down. Goodwin has been working with a professional musician and family friend, Naomi LaViolette, for over a year to help record his songs before his memory fades. This video received a 2nd place Best of the West video storytelling award.

 
 

 

This video was produced for The Oregonian pair with a feature story about a 14-year-old boy with autism who learned to communicate for the first time after more than a decade silence by using a letter board. This piece received a 2nd place video storytelling award from the Society of Features Journalists.

 
 

 

This video was produced in New Delhi, India as a companion piece for a print-based profile for Mint newspaper. It features an artist who stitches portraits of people and places with her sewing machine. The video was selected to be screened at The Craft Film Festival in London.
